Understanding the Qucamba Licensing Model

Qucamba aims having a fair and easy to understand licensing model. The number of licenses and the license type you're required to purchase depends on your role. Simply identify the role of your company in the table below and find your required license type. Please note that only C-Licenses can be configured on qucamba.com. For other license types, please contact us directly.

PARTNER Microsoft Partner for Microsoft Dynamics NAV with NFR-Lizenz	License Type: C-License (Company) Required Quantity: 1 per Company All of your own permanent employees are allowed to use Qucamba Reports with the same license to create, style or preview reports for a) your customers as long as you are registered as the partner that manages the customer's Dynamics NAV license at Microsoft and b) for your own internal Dynamics NAV installation. Additionally, you're allowed to use this license in all of your subsidiaries in which the Qucamba-licensee holds at least a stake of 51%. Note that you're not allowed to use your license on any other systems but your own ones. For example, you're not allowed to use your license on your customer's PCs or even to lend your license to your customer. Also, you have to assure that all of your employees that have access to the license use the software in compliance with the Qucamba Reports Software License Agreement (SLA). END USER Microsoft Dynamics NAV End User with own NAV-Lizenz	C-License (Company) Required Quantity: 1 per Company All of your own permanent employees are allowed to use Qucamba Reports with the same license to create, style or preview reports for your company's requirements. The C-License can be used by the licensing company as well as all other companies of which the licensing company holds a stake of at least 51%. All reports created and styled with Qucamba Reports can be used within these companies but they must not be sold or provided in any other way to third parties. E-License (Economy) Required Quantity: 1 per Company (tiered) As a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central-End User, you're also qualified for purchasing a functional limited E-License. Before purchasing this license type, please check if the functional possibilities fit your requirements.
ISV	V-License (ISV's only) Independent Software Vendors (ISV) with at least one vertical solution for Microsoft Dynamics NAV that has been Certified for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (CfMD) by Microsoft can use Qucamba Reports by signing a separate agreement. If you're an ISV and interested in purchasing Qucamba Reports, please obtain a V-License by contacting us directly instead of configuring it on qucamba.com. Licenses configured on qucamba.com are not eligible for ISV.
Neither of the above	You're not eligible for purchasing a Qucamba Reports license. If you want to use Qucamba Reports you have to make sure that your direct customer has its own Qucamba Reports license. For example, if you are a freelancer or a private person you're not eligible for purchasing a Qucamba Reports license.

All of your own permanent employees are allowed to use Qucamba Reports with the same license to create, style or preview reports for your company's requirements.

The C-License can be used by the licensing company as well as all other companies of which the licensing company holds a stake of at least 51%. All reports created and styled with Qucamba Reports can be used within these companies but they must not be sold or provided in any other way to third parties.

E-License (Economy)
Required Quantity: 1 per Company (tiered)

As a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central-End User, you're also qualified for purchasing a functional limited E-License. Before purchasing this license type, please check if the functional possibilities fit your requirements.

ISV

V-License (ISV's only)

Independent Software Vendors (ISV) with at least one vertical solution for Microsoft Dynamics NAV that has been Certified for Microsoft Dynamics NAV (CfMD) by Microsoft can use Qucamba Reports by signing a separate agreement.

If you're an ISV and interested in purchasing Qucamba Reports, please obtain a V-License by contacting us directly instead of configuring it on qucamba.com. Licenses configured on qucamba.com are not eligible for ISV.

Neither of the above

You're not eligible for purchasing a Qucamba Reports license. If you want to use Qucamba Reports you have to make sure that your direct customer has its own Qucamba Reports license.

For example, if you are a freelancer or a private person you're not eligible for purchasing a Qucamba Reports license.

Qucamba Reports licenses are always company licenses which means that all employees use the same license. Since working with the same Qucamba Reports license means sharing the same login credentials, you just give the credentials to your permanent employees to login.
